An accomplished writer/editor/communications professional is required by this national organisation (charitable status) operating in a high profile cause-related sector. The role reports to board level and can be conducted from home 3-4 days per week.
Key responsibilities involve website content management, case-study reports, blogs, features, social media and corporate communications. There is extensive newsworthy material to write about, occasional broadcast media assignments and a close working relationship with the retained PR agency.
The preferred candidate will be a graduate in English, Communications or Media Studies and/or maybe the holder of a recognised PR or journalistic qualification. A self-starting and versatile approach, with the ability to produce concise, engaging content – across all platforms – is key to the role.
