The Company: The manufacturer and distributor of specialist (vegetarian/vegan/plant-based) foods and nutritional ingredients, supplying the retail grocery chain and specialist nutritional and health-food outlets across the UK.
The Role: Reporting to the CMO, to generate and manage social media marketing activity across all channels and platforms, focusing on engagement, product-promotion and lead generation. You will hold the operational budgets, liaise with the firm’s product category managers and instruct designers/agencies/suppliers in addition to leading the social media strategy, conducting market analysis and coordinating social SEO. Another key part of the role is coordinating social activity with affiliate products/organisations, retail partners, influencers and stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate will be an accomplished B2C (ideally FMCG) product digital/social marketer with a minimum of two years’ demonstrably successful experience in a similar role. A vegetarian or vegan candidate who is convergent with the company’s product ethics and activities is preferred (but not essential). It is likely the chosen candidate will be a graduate in marketing, digital media, communications or similar. To be considered you must have strong practical social media skills across Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Linkedin and be adept at analytics, social media metrics and KPI reporting. A natural flair for design and creativity is also required in addition to strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask under pressure and to habitually hit deadlines.
