The Company is an enterprising capital finance SME, established 30 years, operating mainly in the IT, industrial, engineering and manufacturing sectors.
The Role: A stand-alone ‘Man-Friday’ or ‘Girl-Friday!’ is required to work alongside and report directly to the MD, taking responsibility for client research, campaigns/outreach, market development and telephone appointment making. The job-holder will enjoy full autonomy and a ‘blank canvas’ to which they can bring their energy and ingenuity. For this reason the company requires an individual with at least one year’s successful business development support experience, preferably in an agile SME organisation and ideally in leasing, capital finance or a similar field.
The Ideal Candidate does not have to be a graduate but will definitely need the prior experience outlined above – in addition to an entrepreneurial and pro-active character and the ability to multi-task. First-class interpersonal skills, written and verbal, are essential, in addition to a high level of all-round IT competency.
The position is office-based in north Cheshire, close to the M56 and easily commutable by train from Manchester. The company will consider flexible and/or part-time hours for the right candidate (for example 1000-1500) although a minimum of 25 working hours per week is necessary.
